ABOUT SUSANNE WARNICK

  Having been born and raised in the northernmost part of Germany, the ocean has served as a source of inspiration and emotional connection for my works.

Traveling challenged me to step outside my comfort zones, fostering resilience and adaptability. Navigating unfamiliar situations-such as language barriers or cultural differences enhanced my problem-solving skills and built confidence.

My creations are based on acrylics, bringing a painting alive using emotions and imaginative expressions with my unique finger-painting technique. I feel this technique removes the distance between artist and canvas.

Living part-time in the United States in San Diego, California, and more recently in my hometown of Flensburg, Germany has brought my desire to live in two worlds together, giving both myself and my art a sense of peace and freedom.
